Happy New Year 2025! After the holidays, work resumes

Before lifting

Just before Christmas, during the break, we completed several important works. The pipes and water and electricity connections were laid between the two houses, towards the rainwater tank and the well. The technical shaft of the West house was also poured.

For the East house, this work still needs to be done, but the land is too wet at the moment.

Oak beams

Christophe put together the structure that will support the house: oak beams. It’s beautiful work.

Ready for lifting

The most important thing: everything is now ready to lift the West house – the complete structure that will become our house.

Immediate planning

This week, the floor boxes will be installed and filled with straw. At the same time, the walls must be moved to the parking lot to be ready for lifting the following week.

In a few weeks, the house will be assembled. The excitement is building.
