Article 4: The first shovels are broken: the construction site has officially started

On September 16, the excavator arrived. The construction finally begins in earnest. After months of planning and meetings, it’s concrete now.

The first work begins with the removal of the topsoil under the houses. At the same time, we install the two 10 cubic meter tanks which will be used later, once the house is built, as rainwater reserves.

It’s impressive to see the landscape transform quickly. The land that we have been looking at for months is starting to take the shape of the project. We feel that we have really crossed the point of no return.
