Article 8: First boxes at the carpenter's

The last week of October, we begin manufacturing the boxes. Friday, we spend a day with Matthéo and Martina at Christophe, our carpenter, to see how the boxes are made.

It’s instructive. We had never seen this process in detail before. Seeing how the pieces of wood fit together, how it takes shape – it helps to understand. Christophe explains each step and the importance of precision.

The weather is beautiful – one of those perfect fall days to start. And we quickly realize that the quality of the boxes will be decisive for the future. Every dimension, every angle must be correct.
