Article 32: Earth floor and technical networks

The month of April was marked by an important step: the preparation of the floor. After laying slats over the entire surface of the ground, we sifted and distributed around 18 wheelbarrows of soil. This layer of earth, which will serve as thermal mass, will now be compacted and must dry before we can close the floor and install the underfloor heating.

At the same time, the volunteers took over the interior raw earth coatings. Several people took turns on Fridays and Saturdays to advance on the walls. The work is well underway.

On the technical side, the activity was intense. It was imperative to install all the networks that had to pass through the ducts before closing the floor. We thus laid the evacuation pipes and the first pipes for the solar thermal installation. The photovoltaic (PV) installation is also taking shape, pending final wiring.
